"Twas The Night Before Jesus Came"

'Twas the night before Jesus came and all through the house Not a creature was praying, not one in the house. Their Bibles were lain on the shelf without care In hopes that Jesus would not come there. The children were dressing to crawl into bed. Not once ever kneeling or bowing a head. And Mom in her rocker with baby on her lap Was watching the Late Show while I took a nap. When out of the East there arose such a clatter. I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter. Away to the window I flew like a flash, Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash! When what to my wondering eyes should appear But angels proclaiming that Jesus was here. With a light like the sun sending forth a bright ray I knew in a moment this must be THE DAY! The light of His face made me cover my head It was Jesus! returning just like He had said. And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth, I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself. In the Book of Life which He held in His hand Was written the name of every saved man. He spoke not a word as He searched for my name; When He said "it's not here" my head hung in shame. The people whose names had been written with love He gathered to take to His Father above. With those who were ready He rose without a sound. While all the rest were left standing around. I fell to my knees, but it was too late; I had waited too long and thus sealed my fate. I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight; Oh, if only I had been ready tonight. In the words of this poem the meaning is clear; The coming of Jesus is drawing near. There's only one life and when comes the last call We'll find that the Bible was true after all!

It's such a shame...

That the world has turned out the way it has. When you have to worry about if your children are really talking to other children or a pervert!!! My 12 year old gets on 'horseland" and she has a hard time understanding why she can not tell "to much" about herself because the people she is chatting with may not be a 12 or 13 year old girl like they say.

My children are pure and innocent they do not watch TV, just the CD or DVD movies we approve of. We also home school and they do not sleep over at other peoples houses either for fear of other children corrupting my girls. And when I here someone say..."Well they have to grow up sometime" or "You can't shelter them forever" your right I can't, but I sure can keep them pure and innocent for as long as I can!!!!!!!!!!

It's a sure sign that the Lord is coming back soon, this world is so bad and people are so corrupt, cruel and sinful!

Well I've vented enough for now, LOL. So I pray we all get ready to stand in front of God and give an account for EVERYTHING we have done...Good or Bad.

  1. Hi Kelly...thank you for putting a link to my blog..I guess I have a blog button afterall!!

People do not realize how little influence can corrupt GOOD manners. It's not a Holier than thou attitude..but an answer of a good conscience towards GOD AND your children.

One time my youngest son (then 11) spent the night (I am thinking at his friends HOUSE) but turned out going with the family to ANOTHER HOUSE and he slept on the FLOOR and stayed up til 3 amn! Not my standards. Sooo..needless to say. NO MORE. I had TRUSTED this family I knew VERY WELL to have my son in their care at their home. People should respect the fact that you are also entrusting your PRECIOUS CHILDREN into their care.

Our children went to our church school..saw these same kids daily, at church on Sun and Wed. there was no need for sleepovers. They had enough SOCIAL LIFE.

Your church enviornment and close friends give a child enough SOCIAL interaction to help them understand there are different people/personalities ect. in life to understand behaviour and how to deal with it.

I plan to do a study on Corrupt Communications soon.

Thanks again.. nice to meet you!

    HOPE
